Job Description

The Head of Solution Design leads the design and positioning of our technology solutions for new and existing clients. This typically requires defining a solution from conception to a deliverable project proposal for a client or prospect. In addition, it includes creating standardised offers and solutions that can be re-used or templated in order to create increasingly more attractive offers.

Sitting at the intersection of clients, sales and products, this role ensures our solutions are commercially compelling, technically feasible, and differentiated in the market.

Reporting to Chief Solutions Officer, the role requires a flexible approach to tackle a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Lead a team of solution consultants;
  • Drive close collaboration across sales, presales, product, marketing and delivery;
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CSO and executive team on solution strategy and new solution opportunities;
  • Setting annual target for their area of responsibility, in accordance with the unit & company targets, monitors their progress and is responsible for the end result.

Sales Cycle:

  • Lead solution design for major sales opportunities, including RFPs, proposals, workshops, initiation studies and executive presentations;
  • Develop high-level solution architectures, operating models, and value propositions tailored to our clients;
  • Ensure all designed solutions meet compliance, regulatory, and integration requirements;
  • Act as the “voice of the client” in internal discussions to ensure solutions reflect client requirements & market demand.

Solution Design:

  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the market (in collaboration with Market Integration) and translate them into offerings;
  • Define solutions and determine the efforts (sizing) and associated project plans needed to implement them for the client or prospect;
  • Design end-to-end solutions that combine one or more products and services into integrated offerings;
  • Partner with Product Management to validate feasibility, influence product roadmaps, and support commercialization of new solutions;
  • Pilot new solution concepts with selected clients/partners and refine based on feedback;
  • Build frameworks and playbooks for repeatable solution offerings across markets.

Go to Market Support:

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to define solution strategies for target accounts and industries;
  • Provide solution messaging, differentiators, and sales enablement content;
  • Support pricing and packaging strategies for new solutions;
