Head of Marketing


We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead a strategic shift from legacy Linear TV–centric acquisition to a diversified, digital-first growth strategy. The ideal candidate is an expert in growth marketing across digital media including CTV, programmatic, paid social, search, email/CRM, and owned digital assets, with strong knowledge of Linear TV planning and measurement.


This role involves designing and executing high-impact marketing programs while building a small but scalable marketing team over the long term. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, persuasive, and creative, capable of influencing franchisor decisions and aligning franchise partners on shared growth initiatives.


Location:

Chicago - Hybrid 2 days a week in-office

Open to Remote with Central Time working hours - Midwest, East Coast


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing spend focused on customer acquisition across digital media and all working spend/P&L.
  • Own key metrics such as traffic SSS, CAC & CPT, and overall channel traffic.
  • Develop and measure customer acquisition strategies across all media channels to drive revenue growth and targeted ROI.
  • Analyze KPIs and provide recommendations from dashboards and ad hoc analysis.
  • Manage media agencies to ensure strategic execution.
  • Optimize creative and collateral decisions using Test & Control methods.
  • Implement segmentation strategies to improve conversion rates and customer lifetime value.
  • Build CRM and communication touchpoint strategies to enhance sales, customer experience, NPS scores, and retention.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to manage consumer data platforms for CRM efforts.
  • Work with creative agencies and field operations on marketing materials and local marketing strategies.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in media planning or performance marketing.
  • Proven expertise in Linear TV media planning required.
  • Experience with brand creative and digital customer experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage analysts and interpret reports independently.
  • Proficiency in managing paid, unpaid, organic digital, social, search, and traditional campaigns.
  • SEO and SEM strategy formulation experience for large consumer websites.
  • Ability to conceptualize, execute, and optimize complex paid media acquisition programs.
  • Experience creating comprehensive reports for executive leadership teams and boards.
  • Strong team-building skills with collaborative approach working across organizations.
