Frontend Developer (React Native), Gyga Force, CA, US

Our client, located in San Francisco's SoMa district, is a very well-funded Series-B startup with around 25 employees and rapidly growing. They are an AI-first social media management platform helping brands turn followers into loyal, paying customers. They are rapidly accelerating growth and product innovation and expanding into advanced image and video generation capabilities.

They are seeking a Frontend Mobile Developer with React Native expertise, strong TypeScript (or JavaScript) skills, and some additional web development experience, as outlined below:

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Build polished, cross-platform features in React Native and TypeScript or JavaScript that feel fast and intuitive.
• Take ownership of app responsiveness, fluid gestures, and quick startup. Reduce lag and track p95/p99 latency for the UI.
• Deliver purposeful animations, haptic feedback, and motion details that elevate the experience. Pay attention to timing, curves, and easing.
• Work with designers to define tokens (spacing, colors, typography, motion) and a reusable component set for web and mobile. Ensure accessibility and localization are part of the foundation.
• Build user flows that streamline daily tasks and social interactions with thoughtful product design.
• Move from prototypes in Figma to production code, test with real users, and refine using analytics, crash metrics, and usability outcomes. Protect UX quality while keeping delivery velocity high.
• Use feature flags, over-the-air updates, and observability to launch with confidence.
• Help guide roadmap priorities, strengthen design/dev workflows, set frontend standards, improve testing practices, and mentor teammates as the team expands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ Years Delivering Production Apps (3+ with React Native). You’ve launched and supported React Native apps at scale, owning key features end-to-end across iOS and Android (and ideally some web as well).
• Strong in React Native & TypeScript or JavaScript. Skilled with state management, navigation, React Native Web, async programming, performance optimization, and handling build/release pipelines.
• Comfortable turning Figma designs into polished, accessible interfaces. You care about layout, typography, motion, and micro-interactions—and know when to keep things simple versus adding moments of delight.
• Able to design scalable frontends (modular structure, feature flags, clean boundaries) while keeping the user experience smooth and intuitive.
• Work well in uncertain situations, deliver with craftsmanship, and tie frontend decisions to tangible product results.
