About The Role

At Andesite, we are developing a comprehensive product suite aimed at empowering cybersecurity analysts. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing our application's frontend systems. Your work will enable cybersecurity analysts to extract maximum value from complex data sources, facilitating more effective threat detection and response. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and leadership abilities to craft intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to shape the visual and interactive aspects of our data-driven products. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that impact the entire product lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of cybersecurity technology by building scalable, reliable, and innovative frontend solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of frontend development experience with modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte, with at least 4 years of experience in React
• Proven experience developing responsive, scalable frontends and APIs, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for delivering products that delight customers and utilize next-generation AI technology

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces for Andesite's cybersecurity products
• Translate complex user requirements into elegant, user-friendly frontend experiences
• Establish and promote best practices for frontend development, ensuring high-quality, performant, and reliable code
• Advocate for modern frontend technologies, tools, and patterns to improve development efficiency and product quality
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define and refine user experiences, ensuring they are both powerful and engaging
• Mentor and guide junior frontend engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Contribute to API and backend development efforts, leveraging understanding of data systems and infrastructure
• Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet security and performance standards
