This is a hybrid role with on-site work required 2-3 days per week in Indianapolis, IN.

Front-End Engineer (UX Design) | About You

As a Front-End Engineer (UX Design), you are responsible for leading the design and implementation of sophisticated, user-focused web applications and dashboards. You combine deep technical skill with a keen eye for design to create intuitive, efficient, and visually engaging user experiences. You excel at translating complex requirements into actionable, high-quality interfaces that drive adoption and insight. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices in both development and UX. You proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, optimize performance, and elevate the overall user experience.

Front-End Engineer (UX Design) | Day-to-Day

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of responsive dashboards and front-end applications using React.js or Vue.js, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to translate complex requirements into user-friendly, visually compelling interfaces.
• Apply UX design principles to optimize workflows, enhance usability, and improve overall user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing, mentor team members on best practices, and ensure applications meet quality and accessibility standards.
• Participate in code reviews, establish front-end development standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and UX design methodologies, providing thought leadership on innovative UI solutions.

Front-End Engineer (UX Design) | Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a portfolio demonstrating both technical skill and UX design expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in React.js or Vue.js, with strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience applying UX/UI design principles to deliver intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and leading collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance technical precision with design quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
