Job Summary:  

We are seeking a highly organized and thorough Facilities HVAC/R TAB Coordinator to oversee and manage the air and water balancing aspects of our HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coordinate and streamline processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across initiatives. You will exhibit a high level of dependability and passion, embodying our core values of People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and supervise air and water balancing activities, including testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of HVAC systems. 
  • Coordinate tool exhaust balancing activities with FAB tool owners. 
  • Develop and implement air and water balance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance and indoor air quality. 
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. 
  • Ensure all air-balancing activities adhere to industry standards, safety laws, and company policies.
  • Complete required safety training and adhere to safety protocols, including PPE and chemical safety procedures. 
  • Maintain accurate records of air and water balancing activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory. Build and deliver operational performance reports and important data for management. 
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Collaborate with maintenance contractors to ensure effective and timely service execution. 
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and drive cost savings. Review facility designs and standards for compliance with manufacturer and company guidelines. Identify gaps and opportunities for efficiency, supporting a culture of Total Productive Management (TPM). 
  • Create and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Pre-Task Plans (PTP), Scopes of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), and other relevant procedures to ensure safe and effective execution of work. 
  • Apply advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software to efficiently manage tasks, create professional documents and presentations, and support team operations through effective digital tools. 
  • Collect and analyze operational data from facility systems to identify inefficiencies. Develop and implement system performance improvement projects based on data insights 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in air balancing and HVAC systems management. 
  • 2+ years’ experience in mechanical systems, equipment, and processes used in HVAC systems. 
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in HVAC systems management. 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • AAS or AS Degree in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, related field of study, or equivalent military experience. 
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies. 
  • 4+ years of experience in an HVAC environment. 
  • 4+ years in a supervisory or coordinating role in HVAC systems management.
