Faliro House is an entertainment company active in Film, TV, Theatre and XR/Gaming, dedicated to building international partnerships that elevate storytelling around the world, while helping grow a vibrant creative and tech economy in Greece.

Since 2008, Faliro House has produced and co-produced more than eighty films including ATTENBERG by Athina Rachel Tsangari, ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE by Jim Jarmusch and TAKE SHELTER by Jeff Nichols, as well as the Academy Award nominated films BEFORE MIDNIGHT by Richard Linklater, THE LOBSTER by Yorgos Lanthimos and THE LOST DAUGHTER by Maggie Gyllenhaal.

In 2014, Faliro House entered a multi-year development partnership with FilmNation Entertainment, which produced works such as THE FOUNDER starring Michael Keaton and KNOCK AT THE CABIN by M. Night Shyamalan. In 2020, the partnership was extended to include high-end episodic content for the international marketplace.

In 2015, Faliro House established Oxbelly, a nonprofit organization that serves the international film, TV and literary communities through its annual writers programs for talent from around the globe, and the Greek filmmaker community through year-round offerings.

Faliro House started its theatre journey in 2018 as a partner in Empire Street Productions, launching with West End hits KILLER JOE starring Orlando Bloom and TRUE WEST with Kit Harington and Johnny Flynn. Other productions include Tony-winning and Olivier-winning PRIMA FACIE starring Jodie Comer, Tony-winning THE SOUND INSIDE starring Mary-Louise Parker, the West End production of Martin McDonagh’s THE PILLOWMAN starring Lily Allen as well as STEREOPHONIC, which was nominated for a record breaking 13 Tony Awards, and went on winning five including for Best Play.

Faliro XR was founded in 2020 and endeavors to lead the digital transformation of storytelling through research, immersive content production, and software development, by utilizing prominent technologies, such as VR, AR, and artificial intelligence.

Faliro House is the partner of choice for production services in Greece. Productions include the BBC/AMC show THE LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL based on the novel by John Le Carré, TOM CLANCY’S JACK RYAN streaming on Amazon Prime, RISE, the Disney+ biopic of NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo, Neftlix’s GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY and Amazon Prime Video’s THE ASSASSIN.

The company has a successful history of bringing international partnerships to Greece, such as with Sundance Institute and the UK’s National Film and Television School. Additionally, throughout the years Faliro House has fostered alliances in the US, through partnering with established industry leaders, and investing in frontrunning startups such as Tye Sheridan’s Wonder Dynamics which was acquired by Autodesk.

Job Description

The Executive Assistant to the President strives to anticipate and prioritize needs, manage relationships with partners, organize a very demanding schedule with efficiency and focus, and support the President’s office to perform their functions in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a similar role or in other highly demanding coordinating roles, is adept at navigating a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making an impact in this role. Prior experience in film production, cultural organizations or law firms will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and assess the day-to-day tasks and outstanding items of the President
• Organize and maintain high-volume calendars, creating efficiency in daily schedules

• Handle requests for time, utilizing strong judgment in prioritization and flexibility to meet scheduling changes
• Anticipate needs, problem-solve where needed, and respond to emerging issues in a proactive manner
• Manage all travel and accommodation arrangements
• Assist with ad hoc initiatives and projects in addition to core responsibilities
• Perform other varying personal tasks as needed
