Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Events Assistant to join our dynamic team where creativity and organization are paramount. This is an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about event planning and want to kick-start their career in the events industry. In this role, you will work closely with our event coordinators to assist in the execution of a variety of exciting events, including corporate meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events under the direction of the event coordinator.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all necessary materials and services are secured and delivered on time.
  • Help create event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth operations before and during the events.
  • Support on-site event setup and breakdown, ensuring all logistics run smoothly.
  • Handle various administrative duties, including responding to inquiries and managing RSVP lists.
  • Conduct research to identify potential venues, vendors, and entertainment options.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and event execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with social media platforms.
