ERP Business Analyst

Massillon, OH (Hybrid Schedule)

We are seeking an ERP Business Analyst, responsible for the technical configuration, administration, and operational support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SC platform.  This role focuses on maintaining system health, data integrity, and operational efficiency. Key activities include hands-on system configuration, managing data imports/exports, monitoring integrations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing direct system support.  Collaborating with end-users is essential for resolving system problems and implementing technical optimizations within the D365 environment.  

In this role, the ERP Business Analyst will develop both broad system knowledge and specialized understanding of D365 configurations and data structures within key functional areas (Finance, Master Data Management, Supply Chain, Commercial).  The ERP Business Analyst will report to and collaborate with the ERP Business Architect.

Your Seat at the Table:

• Monitor the health and performance of the Dynamics 365 F&SC system and related integrations daily.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues and support tickets, particularly those related to data processing and integrity within D365.
• Perform routine and scheduled data import/export tasks, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Configure and modify D365 settings, parameters, and workflows based on evolving business needs and approved change requests.
• Collaborate with business users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes, patches, or upgrades.
• Assist in maintaining D365 security configurations, including user roles and permissions, under the guidance of the ERP Architect.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

What you Bring to the Table:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in ERP administration or related technical role
• Demonstrated understanding of core ERP concepts and functionality (e.g., modules, configuration, data flow, business process integration).
• Demonstrated ability to understand core business processes such as: Manufacture to Deliver, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Plan to Produce, and Record to Report.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical or data-related issues methodically.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when working with data and system configurations.
• Excellent communication skills for handling support tickets and collaborating with users.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes quickly, specifically Dynamics 365 F&SC.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct hands-on experience supporting or administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SC.
• Prior experience in a support or administration role for another major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Experience with SQL, particularly for querying and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with other programming or scripting languages.
• Understanding of X++ for Report Authoring
• Understanding of FastPath for managing Security and Compliance within the ERP to meet segregation of duties requirements
