About The Role

We are seeking a Director of Performance Marketing to lead media strategy and deployment across our eight-figure annual media budget. Reporting into the VP of Marketing, this leader will be responsible for building and optimizing full-funnel paid media strategies that not only accelerate direct-to-consumer growth but also drive measurable incremental impact on our omnichannel business (retail and Amazon).

The ideal candidate has deep experience running large-scale performance budgets, testing emerging channels, and applying advanced measurement frameworks (incrementality testing, MMM) to optimize media allocation across the funnel. They also should have experience owning revenue targets for DTC and Amazon channels, partnering with a cross functional team to drive new customer growth and retention for eCommerce channels.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

Media Strategy & Execution

  • Own deployment of the DTC performance marketing budget across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Linear and CTV, Podcast, and more
  • Design and execute full-funnel media strategies that drive both DTC sales and omnichannel brand/retail impact
  • Establish a test-and-learn roadmap across creative, audiences, and channels to continuously improve efficiency and growth
  • Partner with brand marketing to ensure campaigns balance near-term acquisition goals with long-term equity building

Measurement & Optimization

  • Partner with external agencies and finance team to implement incrementality tests, holdout experiments, and MMM methodologies for true business impact measurement
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights for senior leadership, highlighting ROI, trade-offs, and incremental lift across channels
  • Lead team in DTC planning and strategy in alignment with revenue targets, customer acquisition goals, and efficiency metrics
  • Build frameworks for cross-channel attribution that capture both direct response and halo effects on retail and Amazon

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with eCommerce, sales, and shopper marketing teams to align paid media with omnichannel commercial objectives
  • Partner closely with brand marketing team to help amplify key brand initiatives with media planning and budget allocation
  • Manage agency partners and platform relationships to ensure best-in-class execution and innovation
  • Influence the broader organization by evangelizing growth marketing best practices and insights.
