About The Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist to build and lead our Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will develop innovative, data-driven client solutions and improve internal processes through the strategic use of data. You’ll collaborate with engineers, planners, project managers, and clients to understand data needs, design and implement solutions, and deliver actionable insights.

As a member of the Information Technology team, you’ll report to the Director of Information Technology and collaborate closely with technical teams, business leaders, and cross-functional partners across the organization. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely or from any Parametrix office.

You Will:

  • Collect, clean, transform, and securely store data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, files, and surveys.
  • Apply advanced machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence to explore, analyze, and derive insights from data
  • Design and maintain visually appealing and intuitive dashboards, reports, and presentations to effectively visualize and communicate key data findings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand data needs and deliver tailored data-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to improve data capabilities and ensure data quality.

You Have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in data science or analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, ETL, and other data processing tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts; AEC industry experience is a plus.

Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $130,000-$155,000+.

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.
