The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality data pipelines, architecture, and governance. The position involves building and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure, managing structured and unstructured data, and optimizing storage and processing strategies to support advanced analytics. Accountabilities
The Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer will:

Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines to support AI/ML/LLM workflows, including data labeling, classification, and document parsing

Collaborate with data scientists, labeling teams, and software engineers to ensure reliable access to structured and unstructured data sources

Optimize data storage, partitioning, and clustering strategies to maintain high performance and reliability
-
Develop, test, and enhance features using SQL, Python, and cloud-based data warehousing technologies
-
Ensure data integrity, quality, and adherence to data governance standards through validation and error-handling mechanisms
-
Document solutions, workflows, and processes to support internal team collaboration and knowledge sharing
-
Identify and implement improvements across the full data lifecycle, including ingestion, ETL processes, and data expiration layers
At the Senior level: provide guidance and mentorship, assess technical risks, contribute to architecture decisions, and champion continuous process improvement
Requirements
Candidates should possess:

4+ years of cloud-based experience (Data Engineer) or 7+ years (Senior Data Engineer) in building and maintaining data solutions

Practical experience supporting AI/ML and LLM workflows with cloud-based pipelines and data infrastructure

Proficiency in Python (or Scala) and SQL for high-performance, maintainable, and scalable codebases

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and cloud-native data solutions such as BigQuery, Spark, Pub/Sub, and Object Storage

Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data architecture

Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum) and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, or equivalent experience

Ability to work remotely or from an office location; flexibility to collaborate with global teams
