This is a hybrid role with on-site work required 2-3 days per week in Indianapolis, IN.

Data Architect | About You

As a Data Architect, you are responsible for designing and implementing scalable, well-structured data architectures that enable AI, advanced analytics, and enterprise reporting. You excel at building data models, integrating multiple data sources, and creating data lakehouses that provide reliable, governed data access. You think beyond immediate requirements, proactively identifying opportunities to improve data ecosystems and develop new use cases. You thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with both onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-value data solutions that serve global business needs.

Data Architect | Day-to-Day

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures, including data lakes and lakehouses, leveraging AWS and Microsoft Fabric for optimal scalability and performance.
• Develop and refine data models (dimensional, relational, and metadata-driven) to support AI, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Integrate and standardize data from diverse sources into governed, accessible structures within the enterprise data platform.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data readiness for advanced analytics and visualizations.
• Anticipate future business and technical needs, recommending architectural improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver solutions aligned with global enterprise goals and data governance standards.

Data Architect | Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in AWS, Microsoft Fabric, and modern data lake/lakehouse architectures.
• Demonstrated expertise in dimensional and relational modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
• Proven track record integrating and optimizing large, complex datasets for analytics and AI workloads.
• Strong collaboration skills with experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
