What you will work on

• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Build data models and analytical frameworks to support predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic analytics.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover player behaviors, market trends and revenue opportunities.
• Design and implement data transformations to prepare datasets for modeling and statistical analysis.
• Apply statistical methods and exploratory data analysis to validate hypotheses and support business decisions.
• Collaborate with different teams like Product, Marketing and Finance to deliver insight-driven strategies.
• Automate recurring analytics tasks using SQL and Python to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with BI engineers to ensure analytical datasets are optimized for modeling and self-service analytics.
• Present findings with clear, data-backed recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in analytics, data science or quantitative research roles.
• Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, aggregations, performance tuning).
• Solid experience with Python for data analysis
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and A/B experimentation.
• Experience visualizing insights using tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analytics into business impact.
  

Nice to have Skills

• Exposure to machine learning techniques for classification, clustering and regression.
• Familiarity with Databricks or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Experience in gaming, betting or high-volume transactional data environments.
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, forecasting for customer segmentation, churn prediction or lifetime value estimation.
