The Corporate FP&A Lead Analyst is a critical role in conducting financial modeling and data analysis supporting the Corporate Financial Planning and Analytics processes. Activities will include financial modeling, data analysis and interpretation as well as display of data using business intelligence tools. This is a visible role requiring significant interaction with peers and cross functional teams. The goal is to uncover key insights that lead to better informed and successful decision-making and to transform raw data into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations. The position reports to the Senior Director of Corporate FP&A.
Primary responsibilities include:
· Lead the consolidation of monthly forecast and annual plan
· Lead the recurring revenue waterfall analysis and publish weekly recurring revenue forecast
· Prepare complex financial analysis and models to aid in investment decisions and tracking
· Maintain appropriate internal controls as appropriate
· Perform adhoc data analytics as needed
· Prepare presentation materials for use in discussions with Board and Executive Management
· Create reports for internal teams
· Support KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement dashboards.
· Establish effective partnerships with business unit leaders and finance peers.
· Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
· Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
· Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information
Skills Required
· Undergraduate degree, MBA in related field a plus.
· 4-6 years of FP&A experience in a corporate environment
· Excellent financial modeling and data analysis experience to support data-driven decision making
· Experience supporting Software / SaaS businesses preferred
· Proficiency in accounting and corporate finance concepts
· Strong business acumen and partnering skills, with ability to effectively challenge and influence business stakeholders
· Must be highly organized, have a natural drive for results, be able to work on multiple projects / analysis at the same time that vary widely in scope, size, and type.
· Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
· Experience with ERP software & data tools
