Camera Systems Repair Technician

Join our team as a Camera Systems Repair Technician , where you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot sewer camera and inspection systems. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Camera Systems Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide service maintenance, customization, and customer support for all JJE-sold sewer cameras and inspection systems. You will also serve as a technical advisor to other JJE locations for camera-specific parts and services.

ABOUT YOU:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and robotics skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and customer-focused.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics (completed or in progress), or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Configuration

• Install and secure camera systems on heavy equipment.
• Route and connect wiring to power sources and monitors.
• Configure and calibrate camera settings for optimal performance.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and repair faulty camera systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace outdated components.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Follow site-specific safety protocols.

Customer Support & Documentation

• Communicate effectively with customers and equipment operators.
• Provide training and support on camera system usage.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and inspections.

Inventory Management

• Track and manage tools, parts, and inventory.
• Order supplies as needed.

Other Duties

• Perform field work at customer sites as required.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and comply with all safety regulations.

Work Environment

• Work primarily in a camera repair shop with occasional field work.
• Frequent use of fine motor skills and close visual attention.
• Ability to multitask and climb in/out of trucks.
• Must comply with all workplace safety policies and procedures.
