Business Intelligence Engineer II, Chewy, MA, US

Our Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Boston, Massachusetts for development of ongoing reports, analyses and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements.

What You’ll Do: 

• Work with the Supply Chain teams in areas including network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, delivery experience for improved customer experience and in-stock positions.
• Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints.
• Communicate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
• Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
• Improve ongoing analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Management, Data Science, or related field and 5 year of experience.
• Will also accept Master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Experience must include 3 years with: Tableau, Excel and SQL expertise;
• Knowledge of data warehousing; and
• Data modeling experience in Retail/E-commerce.
• Experience must also include: forecasting and Supply Chain;
• Python; and
• SQL Server.
