Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Assistant General Manager
to support the daily operations of our 300+ guest room full-service hotel in Orlando, Florida. This flagship property within Rebel Hotel Company's growing portfolio requires a hands-on leader with strong full-service brand experience-
Marriott background strongly preferred
. The Assistant General Manager will partner closely with the General Manager and Executive Committee to ensure operational excellence, financial performance, and exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Sales, Engineering, and Finance.

Act as a visible leader and brand ambassador, modeling Rebel Hotel Company's culture and values.

Drive guest satisfaction by ensuring consistent delivery of brand standards, service initiatives, and quality experiences.

Lead, coach, and mentor department managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategies.

Analyze operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize profitability.

Maintain strong relationships with guests, associates, ownership, and brand representatives.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as franchise requirements.

Take an active role in property improvement projects and capital planning in partnership with the General Manager.
Required Skills, Experience And Knowledge

Minimum 3'5 years of leadership experience in a full-service branded hotel (Executive Committee or senior department head level).

Marriott brand experience highly desirable.

Demonstrated success leading multi-department operations (200+ rooms), with proven strength in F&B, rooms operations, and guest engagement.

Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing budgets and achieving performance goals.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and build high-performing teams.

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
