Costa Navarino is in Messinia in the southwest Peloponnese, in one of the most unspoiled and breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean. W Costa Navarino, exclusively for adults and young adults over 12 years old, offers 226 stylish rooms, 2 bedroom suites and 3 bedroom villas with infinity private pools, staged in the Bay of Navarino with stunning Ionian Sea views, The Watersports Center, The Away Spa and gym with a heated 25m-long lap pool, including the new Navarino Agora, an open marketplace with retail, street food, open-air cinema and exciting programming throughout the day and night.

W Costa Navarino is looking for an Assistant Waiter. The selected candidate will assist in delivering outstanding customer service by taking and processing guests' orders, as well as serving meals and beverages. They will work closely with the Head Waiter/Waitress to ensure maximum guest satisfaction on a daily basis, providing timely, friendly, and efficient service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest’s expectations, and attend to their needs, in a proactive and positive manner.
  • Prepare and organize mise en place based on daily outlet needs, for all equipment. Prepare and sanitize all the tables, chairs while assisting Head waiter with the daily duties.
  • Carry out position allocated tasks during shift and provide a detailed handover at the end of the shift, focusing on continuous improvement on a daily basis.
  • Greet and welcome guests in a courteous manner. Take orders using the PDA system and serve with accuracy, following brand standards and H&S protocols.
  • Communicate special requests from guests to the F&B and culinary team, regarding allergies or specific preferences, to ensure excellent customer service is provided.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and preserve a clean and tidy work area at all times.
  • Assist in all BOH preparations when necessary, ensuring teamwork and effective communication is maintained.
  • Follow all H&S rules, hotel policies, SOPs and Brand Standards at all times. Guide and encourage team to do the same.
  • Attend all trainings and seminars provided by the company and continuously remain updated for all trends and market news
