This position is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is only available in New York City.
Responsibilities
The Art Director will be a valuable addition to our team, shaping and executing creative ideas, creating client-ready work, and designing assets & presentations that bring our ideas to life visually. Driven by quality experiences and inspired by design, with a passion for quality execution no matter the medium.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and communicating concepts, developing campaign art direction, and ideation for original assets. You will create a range of work spanning ideation through delivery while working closely with our Senior Designers, Creative Director, and strategy counterparts to fulfill and exceed client needs. This requires an ability to set the tone and guidelines for how work should look and feel as well as the world it lives in. Responsibilities will include:
Creative Leadership:

Partner with and inspire designers, junior art directors, and other creatives to produce outstanding work.

Develop and execute innovative visual concepts for integrated campaigns and social-first content.

Ensure all creative output meets the highest standards of quality and aligns with the client's brand guidelines and objectives.
Campaign Development:

Collaborate with the strategy and account teams to understand client goals and target audiences.

Conceptualize and pitch bold, fresh ideas that leverage current trends and platform-specific best practices.

Oversee the entire creative process from ideation to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivery under project timelines and constraints.
Design Execution:

Create visually stunning and effective designs, including graphics, layouts, motion graphics, and video content.

Utilize strong typographic and compositional skills to develop cohesive and impactful visual narratives.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to junior team members to elevate the overall quality of work.
Client Interaction:

Present creative concepts and designs to clients with confidence and clarity.

Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and a deep understanding of their brand and business objectives.

Respond to client feedback and make revisions in a timely and professional manner.
Strategic and Visual Problem-Solving:

Use visual thinking and hands-on design skills to solve strategic business challenges.

Flex and showcase a variety of creative skills across platforms from digital to print to experiential.

Contribute to creative strategy sessions, providing ideas and insights to build from.
Collaboration and Culture

Collaborate effectively with team members across the agency.

Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in design, with a strong multi-disciplinary portfolio.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to self-manage and mentor juniors.

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Google Slides, Keynote and Figma.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for content creation.

Experience designing across platforms from digital to print to experiential.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-
Experience working under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Passion for creativity, innovation, and staying ahead of industry trends.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
