Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our dynamic finance team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in various accounting functions, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting team to support day-to-day operations and gain exposure to best practices in corporate accounting. This internship will also be a part of RF-SMART's Summer 2025 Internship Program.  

What You'll Do: 

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments 
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations 
• Help prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy in general ledger postings 
• Conduct data entry and analysis related to financial transactions 
• Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and compliance reporting 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date 
• Support audits by organizing financial records and documentation 
• Participate in ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

 Eligibility Requirements:    

To be eligible for the RF-SMART Summer Internship Program, students must meet the following requirements:    

• Enrolled in a degree program at the time of the internship
• Considered a Junior or Senior by credit hours (all fields of study welcome)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles 
• Available to work 40 hours per week on-site at US East Office in Jacksonville, FL   
• Eligible to work in the United States of America for any employer without the need for future sponsorship    

Details of the Program:     

• Duration: Spring semester  
• Hours:20-25 hours/week 
• Pay: $20 per Hour
