Job Description

RevsUp represents a growth-stage open-source billing company that’s on a mission to simplify the world’s most painful problem for engineers and finance leaders: subscription and usage-based billing.


This 35-employee, Series A firm ($22 million total funding), trusted by AI pioneers like Mistral.ai, Together.ai, Groq, and Laravel, is hiring Account Executives to sell $20k to $100k ACV deals to fast-growing startups, mid-market, and enterprise companies. This is a fully remote role, but you must be located in a preferred metro area.

A leading open-source billing engine built for modern, product-led SaaS companies. Its modular architecture empowers developers to configure complex pricing models—subscription, usage-based, prepaid, tiered, or progressive—while offering finance teams the clarity and control they need.


The company gained early momentum with 7,000+ GitHub stars, fast-moving AI clients like Mistral.ai (live in production within 52 days), and a distinctive bottom-up, open-source GTM motion that differentiates it from legacy players like Stripe Billing and Metronome.


Role

  • Individual contributor role, working from your home office and reporting to the Head of Sales.
  • $80K to $100K base salary; $160K to $200K OTE; plus equity and full benefits.
  • Quota is $650K to $800K ACV and the average deal size is $20K to $100K.
  • This is perfect opportunity for a mid-market rep who wants to grow into an Enterprise role. You will close about 2 deals a month, but we are seeing traction from some large Fortune 1000 companies, so you’ll be working with firms of all sizes.
  • Top candidates have 2 to 4 years of closing experience, ideally with former SDR experience.
  • We will have a 1-to-1 AE to SDR ratio, but to be clear, you will be prospecting at least 25% of your week.
  • Experience with developer tools, APIs, or billing/fintech software is helpful.
  • Strong ownership mindset—comfortable building pipeline, leading demos, and managing deals end-to-end.

As an Account Executive, you’ll play a crucial role in connecting our platform to our customers’ needs. You don’t need an engineering degree or years of coding experience, but you do need curiosity, the ability to learn quickly, and a drive to become an expert in the product.


You’ll guide customers through their journey—from the first contact to onboarding—helping them unlock the full potential of our platform. Your role will involve simplifying technical concepts, solving problems creatively, and championing the open-source ethos.

• Become a product expert: Dive into our documentation, learn how the platform works, and use that knowledge to help customers succeed.

• Help customers win: Lead demos, guide proof-of-concepts, and ensure customers see the value.

• Simplify technical concepts: Break down APIs, integrations, and billing workflows into clear, actionable steps for customers.

• Own and drive your tasks: Take full responsibility for your work, from start to finish, ensuring a smooth experience for customers.

• Collaborate with excellence: Work closely with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

• Represent open source: Show customers why an open-source approach gives them control, transparency, and a better way to scale their business.
